Credit-card information should not be sent to Inspired Travel Adventures through regular email, social media messages or other unsecured communication methods.

Where TravelJoy is used for credit-card authorization, TravelJoy states that it uses PCI-compliant payment and tokenization providers and does not store sensitive credit-card details on its own servers.

How we share personal information

Travel planning requires us to share certain information with third parties in order to research, arrange, book and service your travel.

Depending on your trip, information may be shared with:

• Nexion Canada, ULC and systems used through our host agency
• Airlines
• Hotels and other accommodation providers

Inspired Travel Adventures uses third-party technology platforms to operate the business and provide services to clients. These currently include:

TravelJoy for customer relationship management, client information and itinerary-related services.

ClientBase Online through our host agency for travel agency and client management purposes.

Flodesk for email marketing and communications with individuals who have agreed to receive marketing messages.

Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

Information processed outside Canada

Some service providers used by Inspired Travel Adventures may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States or other countries.

For example, TravelJoy states that its services are hosted and operated in the United States, while Flodesk states that information it processes may be transferred, processed or stored in the United States and other countries.

When personal information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is stored or processed and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or government authorities in accordance with those laws.

Email marketing

We add individuals to our marketing email list only when they have agreed to receive marketing communications, such as by selecting the appropriate option on an intake form or subscribing directly.

Marketing emails are currently sent through Flodesk.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails or by contacting Inspired Travel Adventures directly.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending emails that are necessary to manage an existing inquiry, booking or travel arrangement.

Website analytics and cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors interact with the site.
