Terms And Conditions of Business

General Terms and Conditions of Business: Inspired Travel Adventures
Last Updated: November 2025

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Any request for a travel quote or reservation made through Inspired Travel Adventures signifies your understanding and agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all travel services arranged by Inspired Travel Adventures.

1. Roles and Responsibilities

Inspired Travel Adventures is a TICO registered travel representative. We act solely as an intermediary between you and the independent travel service providers involved in your trip. These may include airlines, hotels, tour operators, transfer companies, cruise lines, destination management companies, and other suppliers.

All travel services are provided by third party suppliers, and Inspired Travel Adventures has no direct control over their operations, staff, equipment, or decisions. Our responsibility is to arrange reservations and issue payments to suppliers as required.

We are not responsible for any errors, acts, omissions, negligence, delays, schedule changes, or failures by any service provider or by any person or entity we do not directly control. We will assist in good faith to help resolve issues, but you agree that Inspired Travel Adventures is not liable for inconvenience, injury, illness, property loss, or delays caused by suppliers or by circumstances such as weather, government actions, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

2. Professional Planning Fees

A non refundable planning fee is required when requesting a travel quote or trip design. Fees vary based on the type of travel requested and will be provided to you before planning begins.

Planning fees cover itinerary design, supplier research, pricing, logistics, and administrative work. Planning fees do not apply toward the cost of your trip and are not refundable for any reason.

3. Trip Pricing and Payments

Pricing is based on the rates and foreign exchange levels available at the time of quoting and may change until payment is made.

You are responsible for ensuring all payments are made by the deadlines provided. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation or loss of pricing.

This contract permits price increases. Price increases are not permitted after the customer has paid in full. If the total price increase exceeds 7 percent, excluding increases due to retail sales tax or GST/HST, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel suppliers impose cancellation and change penalties that may be up to 100 percent of your trip cost. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against cancellation, interruption, emergency medical expenses, emergency transportation, lost or delayed baggage, and other unforeseen events.

It is your responsibility to review the policy details and confirm coverage directly with the insurance company. Questions about coverage must be directed to the insurer.

5. Changes and Cancellations

All travel services are booked with third party suppliers who each have their own change, cancellation, and refund policies. These policies will apply in all circumstances.

By booking, you acknowledge and accept each supplier’s terms and conditions.

Client Cancellations

Any cancellation or change initiated by you is subject to the supplier’s policies and may also be subject to Inspired Travel Adventures administrative fees as previously disclosed.

Change Fees

Changes are not guaranteed and depend on availability. Any supplier fees, fare differences, or penalties will apply. Inspired Travel Adventures charges a one hundred dollar administrative fee per booking for changes or deviations.

All change requests must be submitted in writing by email. No change will be processed without written approval and payment of any additional charges.

6. Travel Documents

You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and ensuring they remain valid throughout your trip.

These may include:
• Passports
• Visas
• Tourist cards
• Health documentation
• Consent letters for minors

Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Name details on all documents must exactly match travel reservations.

Inspired Travel Adventures and Nexion Canada are not responsible for denied boarding or entry resulting from missing or invalid travel documents. For current government information, visit www.travel.gc.ca.

7. Standards and Local Conditions

Living standards, medical services, infrastructure, food safety, and general conditions outside Canada and the USA may differ. Inspired Travel Adventures is not responsible for any claims or losses arising from these differences.

Hotel ratings are based on the destination’s local rating system and may not reflect North American standards. Hotels may substitute amenities or undertake renovations without notice. If a confirmed hotel is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, a similar or higher category hotel may be provided.

Local taxes, resort fees, or environmental fees may apply and are payable directly in local currency.

8. Limitation of Liability and Release

Inspired Travel Adventures is not responsible for any physical or mental injury, property loss, damage, or expenses arising from participation in travel arrangements.

Although we work with reputable suppliers, we cannot control their actions. You agree not to bring any claim against Inspired Travel Adventures, Nexion Canada, or our employees, contractors, or agents for injury, loss, delay, or damage resulting from third party acts or events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, strikes, civil unrest, disease, transportation interruptions, or any Act of God.

9. COVID 19 and Other Health Risks

You understand that travel may involve exposure to viruses or health risks, and that rules, restrictions, or procedures may change without notice. Inspired Travel Adventures cannot guarantee uninterrupted travel plans or availability of services.

Covid 19 related delays, quarantines, testing, or restrictions are the responsibility of the traveler. Refunds and remedies will follow the policies of the third party suppliers involved.

By booking, you agree that you assume these risks and that Inspired Travel Adventures is not liable for illness, quarantine costs, denied boarding, or any disruption related to Covid 19 or similar health events.

10. Force Majeure

Inspired Travel Adventures is not responsible for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control. These events include natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, labour disputes, technical failures, and similar circumstances.

If a force majeure event affects your trip, refunds or credits will depend on the policies of each supplier.

11. Website Use and Information

The Inspired Travel Adventures website provides general travel information only. No travel booking or financial transaction is conducted directly through the website.

All content on the website, including text, photos, and itineraries, is for informational purposes. Although we strive for accuracy, information may change without notice. Inspired Travel Adventures is not responsible for errors, outdated content, or changes made by suppliers.
